Raed Jarrar, the Iraqi political analyst, and Patricia McCann, the U.S. veteran of the Iraq war, are scheduled to speak against the war and about how communities can support the Iraqi people in rebuilding their lives and country.

The American Friends Service Committee, a peace, social justice and human rights organization, is sponsoring the event as part of a “Speak for Peace Tour: U.S. Veterans & Iraqis Creating the Way Forward.”

Jarrar and McCann will appear for another speech at noon Thursday at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 855 Grove St.
