Bike and cable lock stolen from dorm’s bike room
A blue and yellow bike, estimated to be worth $400, and a cable lock, worth about $10, were stolen sometime between noon Dec. 14 and 10 a.m. Jan. 29 from a bike room on the second floor of East Holden Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. A 20-year-old male student reported he locked the bike to another bike and left them in the room, McGlothian-Taylor said. When he returned, the bike and cable lock were missing. The report indicated there were no signs of forced entry into the bike room, McGlothian-Taylor said. There are no suspects in the theft. Police are investigating the incident.
