Seminar to teach home ownership

The MSU College of Law Rental Housing Clinic will host a seminar Feb. 11 to educate renters on home ownership.

The seminar, The Path to Homeownership will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. at the East Lansing Public Library, 950 Abbot Road.

Representatives from the Rental Housing Clinic, the MSU College of Law Tax Clinic, MSU Federal Credit Union, the city of East Lansing and the Greater Lansing Association of Realtors are scheduled to speak about home ownership. Topics include the legal and tax aspects of buying a home, finding the right Realtor, choosing the best financing and picking the right location.

The seminar is free and open to the public, but seating is limited.
