Student reports cash, CDs stolen from unlocked car
A duffel bag, assorted CDs, a pair of tennis shoes and $65 cash were among the items stolen from a student’s car sometime between 10 p.m. Saturday and 7:30 a.m. Monday in a Spartan Village parking lot, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The 26-year-old male victim reported he didn’t recall locking the passenger door of his car, and the items were missing upon his return, McGlothian-Taylor said. A police report didn’t indicate whether there was any forced entry into the vehicle, McGlothian-Taylor said. There are no suspects in the theft. Police are investigating the incident.
