I am appalled at John Bice’s column Jesus is not returning (SN 9/4). The piece was inflammatory, insulting and offered no benefit to readers other than attacking the Christian faith. Attacking another’s religion is simply unacceptable.
In addition to being unprofessional and downright asinine, Bice’s article did not accurately represent the Christian faith. His opinions are equivalent to saying that all Germans are Nazis or all Muslims are terrorists, which is dangerously shortsighted and completely incorrect. In addition, Bice’s article is poorly researched and erroneous in its portrayal of Christian beliefs.
