August 30, 2007

Capital Area Transportation Authority will not operate on Monday in observance of Labor Day.

Labor Day is only one of seven days out of the year that CATA doesn’t operate.

CATA’s offices will be closed and the Spec-Tran and CATA Rural Services will not be available. The Spec-Tran phone lines will be open from 8. a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.

Routes 34 (Brody-University Village), 35 (Spartan Village-Commuter Lot) and 36 (Akers-Hubbard) will leave for the last time on Sunday at 11 p.m. from the MSU CATA Transportation Center. Riders also can inquire for rides on the Lot Link until 11 p.m.

All CATA routes will resume Tuesday.
