Senior forward Bryan Lerg will serve as captain of the 2007-08 MSU hockey team.
MSU head coach Rick Comley made the announcement Monday, also naming senior forward Chris Mueller, junior goaltender Jeff Lerg, and junior forwards Tim Kennedy and Justin Abdelkader as alternate captains.
In his junior season, Bryan Lerg led the team with 23 goals and 13 assists to rank second on the team with 36 points.
