Unconventional recyclables such as tires, used furniture and scrap metal will be accepted at the city of East Lansing's Project Pride cleanup Saturday.
Items can be taken to the Abbott Center parking lot, 1400-1500 Abbott Road, for disposal. The drop-off period is from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Some items, like lumber and tires, require a disposal fee. See www.cityofeastlansing.com for more detailed information about what type of items will be accepted.
