Two students were arrested April 26 for "creating art" on the water pump house south of Ramp 2, between Bessey Hall and the Computer Center, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. Between 3-3:05 a.m., a 19-year-old male student and a 20-year-old female student were spotted by an officer on patrol. Both admitted to committing about $200 in damages to the shed, McGlothian-Taylor said.The students were arrested and the case is being reviewed by the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office, McGlothian-Taylor said.A 22-year-old female student attempted to steal a wallet and $25 from the Main Library between 6:30-6:45 p.m. April 26, McGlothian-Taylor said. The victim of the attempted theft left her wallet and bag with her friend. Her friend witnessed the woman pacing around the bag and saw her reach into it and take the wallet, McGlothian-Taylor said.The victim, after learning what had occurred, confronted the woman about the wallet. When officers spoke with the woman, she stated she had only planned to steal the money. The woman was arrested on a felony warrant and transported to jail, McGlothian-Taylor said.Ashley A. Smith
