Four larcenies were committed between April 19-21 in Lot 89, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. Between 2-11:48 p.m. April 19, an unknown suspect stole a $200 CD player from a 1994 Pontiac Grand Prix and shattered the driver and passenger side windows, causing about $750 in damage, McGlothian-Taylor said. Between 2-4:15 p.m. April 20 , a 20-year-old male student reported his 2001 Oldsmobile Alero had sustained damage. Although nothing was stolen, the student informed police that less than 30 feet from his car, a second car also had been vandalized. The second vehicle had a shattered passenger window and $50 in CDs were stolen. Both cars sustained about $500 in damage, McGlothian-Taylor said. A fourth vehicle also was vandalized between 11 p.m. April 20 and 4 a.m. April 21, McGlothian-Taylor said. A 19-year-old female student reported her 2003 Saturn sustained $150 in damage and the vehicle's $25 manual was stolen from the glove box, McGlothian-Taylor said.
