When ASMSU elections start this week, all students will have an opportunity to vote on Proposal 3. This proposal is to keep Great Issues off Programming Board, as our ASMSU representatives had already voted. This prior vote that occurred had support from 70 percent of our elected representatives, and it occurred after long hours of debate.

While Great Issues has a right to exist and further its cause, it has absolutely no right to use our tax dollars to bring in those who further hate speech. Its speaker supported violence against American troops and civilians to further a cause that is clearly not supported by students here — or anywhere else. Please vote no on Proposal 3 and help stop hate at MSU.
