A 21-year-old female student reported her laptop and cell phone stolen from the Food Safety and Toxicology Building between 10:05-11:15 a.m. Monday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The student had left her Dell laptop and Samsung cell phone, totaling $450, on a desk in an open office area used by other students when she left for class. The door was left open, McGlothian-Taylor said. There are no suspects.A 21-year-old female student reported her purse stolen from a room in the Business College Complex between 10:30-10:45 a.m. Monday, McGlothian-Taylor said. The student left her purse under a seat while she used the restroom. When she returned her purse was gone. The $15 black purse contained a $120 Motorola Razr cell phone.Laura Misjak
