The No. 9 MSU gymnastics team finished second out of four teams Friday in a meet at Pittsburgh.
The Spartans finished with a team score of 192.150, putting them behind No. 11 West Virginia (193.150) and ahead of Pittsburgh and Maryland. Freshman Rochelle Robinson was the team's top all-around gymnast, earning a score of 38.825 good for second overall. Sophomore Katlyn Roggensack (38.450) and senior Kristen Coleman (38.425) finished third and fourth overall, respectively.
MSU returns to action Saturday at Jenison Field House against Ohio State and Illinois-Chicago. The three-team meet begins at 7 p.m.
