MSU football player Eric Andino was sentenced to nine months probation Friday for his involvement in an Oct. 6 dispute at Abbott Place apartments, formerly known as Capstone Commons apartments.
Andino, a third-string tight end from Arlington Heights, Ill., was charged with jostling and disorderly person, which was reduced from a charge of assault and battery.
According to an Oct. 12 State News article, Andino, along with fellow football players Kellen Freeman-Davis, Barre Mackie and Jeremy McGinnis, allegedly beat and submerged the face of an MSU student under water after an altercation at the complex, the victim's friend's father said.
