Front & center

Jerramy Scott

Senior football wide receiver

Hometown: Jupiter, Fla.

His favorite restaurant:

"Texas Roadhouse. I like the peanuts and they got a pretty nice waitress there."

How he'd do if he played defensive back instead of wide receiver:

"If they moved me to cornerback I'd be one of the top cornerbacks in the league."

Which teammate does the best imitation of head coach John L. Smith:

"Either (junior running back) Jehuu Caulcrick or (senior quarterback) Drew Stanton."

What's on his iPod that would surprise people:

"A lot of people would be surprised because I'm into a lot of gospel music."

If he's ever played as himself on a video game:

"Yeah they might've underestimated my speed a little bit on there and my ability to get off the jam."

Which teammate is the funny man:

"Either (sophomore cornerback) Ross Weaver or (freshman wide receiver) T.J. Williams … Weaver's energetic and the dancing type of guy, and T.J. is the clown … They keep us laughing in the locker room."

What his gameday superstition is:

"A lot of the players make fun of me for the way I put my pads on … I always put them on thigh first."
