A downed power line was reported between 3:30-3:45 p.m. Saturday in the road near the 1600 block of Spartan Village apartments. An excavation company bulldozer accidentally hit the power line while working on the road, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. According to workers for the company, the power line was clearly marked, and they admitted they were at fault, she said. No one was injured, and the East Lansing Fire Department and the MSU Physical Plant were called to repair the line.Lindsey Poisson
