Police briefs 06/07/06

A 20-year-old female MSU student reported her ATM card taken from her purse several times between 9:52 a.m. on May 23 and 1:54 p.m. on Friday at the East McDonel Hall ATM machine. The suspect is a 19-year-old female student, and the amount taken was $898, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian said. The matter is still under investigation.A 66-year-old female employee reported her vehicle vandalized between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday in Lot 11 near the Main Library, Olds Hall and the Administration Building. Her black 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee was parked in a leased parking area, and the front door of the passenger side was keyed and spray-painted red, McGlothian-Taylor said. Damage was worth about $600.
