(SCENE) Metrospace looking for angry art

May 15, 2006

(SCENE) Metrospace is going to get a little angry in coming months.

East Lansing's alternative art space is looking for artists to participate in an upcoming exhibit exploring the many sides of anger.

"Anger is a common emotion that we all deal with, and we are seeking constructive artistic solutions to this difficult theme," a news release from the gallery said. "We are not seeking ranting or personal attacks but, rather, explorations of the roots and results of anger."

All artists 18 and older are invited to participate, and applications will be accepted through June 9. Submitted pieces can be in any medium. For more application information, contact (SCENE) Metrospace director and curator Peter Richards at (517) 319-6832.
