MSU student Brandon Yuille pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Tuesday to charges of computer intrusion and copyright infringement, First Assistant U.S. Attorney Martin Carlson said. The computer science and physics sophomore is set to go to trial June 5 at the U.S. District Court in Harrisburg for allegedly hacking into a Pennsylvania company's Internet server and using it to illegally download movies. He faces up to seven years in prison and $450,000 in fines.A 21-year-old Southfield man was arrested for felonious assault after he allegedly pointed a BB gun at a 20-year-old student in Butterfield Hall at 2:30 a.m. Monday, MSU police Lt. Scott Beckner said. The man was released and the case is being forwarded to the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office.A 21-year-old Detroit man was arrested for breaking into a candy machine at about 9:30 p.m. Monday, Beckner said. The man had a bag full of chips, pretzels, candy bars and cookies. He was arrested and later housed at the Ingham County Jail. The case is being forwarded to the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office.A 19-year-old female student reported a 20-year-old male student went to her Williams Hall dorm room and harassed her about religious issues, Beckner said. The woman did not want to prosecute and the two were advised not to contact each other.A 19-year-old student reported his wallet stolen from a gym in IM Sports-East between 4 and 7 p.m. Monday, Beckner said.
