Saturday: Sparty's Spring Party Classic begins with a 3-on-3 basketball tournament from noon to 7 p.m. at the IM-Sports West parking lot. Events include a ferris wheel, a rock wall, an ice cream giveaway, live music by Reggie and The Full Effect, Allister and Free Element and appearances by Zeke the Wonder Dog and Sparty.

Lansing Community College's Humanities and Performing Arts Department presents "Rhapsody: A Dance Concert." The Children's Ballet Theatre of Michigan will put on a story-time show to celebrate its upcoming Swan Lake performance. The program is for ages 2 and up. There will also be crafts at the event.
