A 20-year-old student reported $645 in electronics stolen from his Ford Explorer parked in Lot 89 between Feb. 24 and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The passenger-side rear window was broken into, causing about $200 in damage. Two speakers, a CD player and amplifier were missing.A 27-year-old student reported an accidental fire in the dryer of a Spartan Village laundry room at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, McGlothian-Taylor said. Smoke and flames damaged the dryer, and there was some internal wire damage as well. The East Lansing Fire Department extinguished the fire.A 36-year-old woman from Montague, Mich., reported three horse tail extensions stolen from the MSU Pavilion for Agriculture and Livestock Education between Feb. 25 and 26, McGlothian-Taylor said. The woman said she left the extensions — which total to about $450 — unattended for about 10 hours. The building was not locked.Melissa Domsic
