Set in a futuristic fascist state, Portman plays an ordinary London woman turned "freedom fighter" after being rescued by a masked vigilante, V (Hugo Weaving). The movie is adapted from the graphic novel by Alan Moore.

3 It's turning into a 1950s black-and-white horror movie around here: Attack of the Rolled Tortillas — or something. But seriously, burritos are taking over East Lansing. Do your civic duty by eating them on Friday. Chipotle, 529 E. Grand River Ave., is promising free burritos from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

4 Whether "Brokeback Mountain" brought a tear to your eye or not, go to www.dailysixer.com for some laughs.
