What do you think of the East Village Master Plan? Do you think Cedar Village needs to be revamped?

"I wouldn't have a problem with it. The buildings are old. It needs to be redone. There are a lot of electrical problems — the heat's gone out, and there's a rumor that there's black mold in the building."

"It seems like the goal is going to be primarily faculty and family housing. Because it's so near campus, I don't think a lot of people would want to move into this housing. I think it's going to force a lot of students farther away from campus, and it's nice to live close to campus to be able to walk."

"I don't like it. It's moving everything farther off campus and taking the fun out of State. I think it's fine the way it is. People come here to have fun. People are going to have to drive to parties at the Landings."

"I think it will be beneficial to the city of East Lansing. The East Village area needs significant improvement, and it's a good plan to get more business and improve the area. The way that buildings are built right now, it's beyond repair. There is no way right now to change it the way it is."
