A 31-year-old student reported her purse stolen between 10 and 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Trout Food Science Building, said MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor. The student left the purse in the lab and returned to find it missing. The door was locked when she returned. The loss is valued at about $150, and there are no suspects.A FedEx package with a $27 printer ink cartridge inside was reportedly stolen between 8:30 and 10 a.m. Jan. 10 in East Akers Hall, McGlothian-Taylor said. The package was missing when a 20-year-old student went to pick up the package after the front desk received it.Two students' belongings were stolen from IM Sports-West between 5 and 7:30 p.m. Friday, McGlothian-Taylor said. An 18-year-old student reported that his wallet, cell phone and blue jeans a total value of about $265 were taken from the gym while he played basketball. A 42-year-old student reported his wallet, cell phone, watch and pants a total value of about $230 were taken from his unlocked locker while he went swimming. His coat and shoes were left in the locker. There are no suspects in either incident.Melissa Domsic
