The University Committee for a Sustainable Campus is asking the MSU community to honor the lives of coal miners who died in the Jan. 2 Sago Mine explosion in West Virginia.

The committee asks that people turn off lights Wednesday at noon for 12 minutes. Each minute is to represent a miner who died in the explosion.
