Police briefs 12/01/05

• A Lion King banner, valued at $600, was stolen from outside Wharton Center sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning, an MSU police report states.The banner was custom-made of vinyl and was red, yellow and black, and made to promote ticket sales, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.• A data projector was taken from a room in North Kedzie Hall sometime between Nov. 22 and Sunday, McGlothian-Taylor said.The cable that secured the $1,000 projector was cut, she said.• A 2006 Nissan 350Z parked on the first level of Ramp 4 was scratched by an unknown object on Sunday, McGlothian-Taylor said.The owner of the vehicle is a Lansing resident with no university affiliation, she said.The damage to the rear passenger quarter panel was estimated to be $861, McGlothian-Taylor said.Margaret Harding
