Golf clubs valued at $2,199.98 were stolen from the Forest Akers East Pro Shop on Oct. 7, an MSU police report states.One set of clubs was valued at $1,199.99, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The clubs were described as men's style Callaway Fusions, having black handles inset with yellow writing and chrome in color, McGlothian-Taylor said.The second stolen set was valued at $999.99, she said.Police are still investigating the incident, McGlothian-Taylor said. A male student told police $100 in cash was taken from his wallet in his Spartan Village apartment bedroom on Oct. 22, McGlothian-Taylor said.The student was playing soccer with friends when the cash was taken and checks were stolen from his desk drawer, she said.The apartment was locked and there were no signs of forced entry, McGlothian-Taylor said.Margaret Harding
