Equipment used for instructional media was taken from a secured area in East McDonel Hall sometime between Friday and Monday, MSU police reported.A video data projector, a DVD/VCR combo and a power speaker were all taken from a cart, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The loss is estimated to be $3,585, and there were no signs of forced entry, McGlothian-Taylor said. • A theft from a car ended in a parking lot accident when the car rolled into another one in Lot 90 on Tuesday, McGlothian-Taylor said.The driver left her car, a 1997 Honda Civic, unlocked in the lot when an unknown suspect stole a T.J. Maxx bag containing a pair of Polo jeans, a pair of Ralph Lauren jeans and a sweater from the car, McGlothian-Taylor said.The suspect also released the parking brake, causing the car to roll into a 2004 Dodge Neon, she said.The impact resulted in a minor scratch to the passenger-side front corner bumper, McGlothian-Taylor said.Margaret Harding
