Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.• An MSU student reported a Monday assault outside IM Sports-West, near the bike racks, McGlothian-Taylor said.The student said he was approached by a man who accused him of talking about his girlfriend, McGlothian-Taylor said.When the student laughed and responded he didn't know the man, the suspect punched the student on the left side of his face, police said.The student's eyelid was red and swollen, but he refused medical treatment.The suspect was described as a black male around 20 years old, about 6-feet tall, 210 pounds, a heavy build, with black hair and brown eyes, and was wearing a long white T-shirt with an airbrushed picture of Tupac Shakur, McGlothian-Taylor said.Margaret Harding
