A female Spartan Village resident noticed a man peeking into her bedroom window as she typed a paper in another room on Tuesday, a MSU police report states.The resident found the man standing on a chair looking into her window, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.After closing the curtain, the resident called the police, who were not able to locate the man after checking the area, McGlothian-Taylor said.• A Pride Victory motorized scooter, was damaged while stored in the first-floor study lounge in East Wilson Hall sometime between Sept. 17 and 19, according to MSU police.An unknown suspect tampered with the speed adjuster of the scooter, causing it to accelerate no faster than a "crawl," McGlothian-Taylor said.A knob that adjusts the speed was also broken off. The damage was estimated at $250, McGlothian-Taylor said. • A backpack containing books, a calculator and other miscellaneous items was taken from a classroom in the Eppley Center on Monday. A female student left the backpack unattended for a half hour and returned to find it gone, McGlothian-Taylor said. The textbooks and calculator have a combined value of more than $250.• A male student reported that his wallet, valued at $20, was taken from the floor near a bench press in the IM West weight room on Wednesday, McGlothian-Taylor said.
