An MSU student is out $404 after responding to an e-mail that said he could win an Xbox on Monday. The student clicked on a link sent to his e-mail and filled in personal information, including his bank account number and his personal identification number, at the Web site, said MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor. He said he didn't send the page in, but believes it somehow captured his information and withdrew the money the next day, McGlothian-Taylor said. Police are investigating the matter.• A Bryan Hall resident who believed she was filling out personal information for Comerica Bank found out $272.43 had been withdrawn from her account on Monday, according to an MSU police report. She had received an e-mail stating she must verify her banking information online. She submitted her account, debit and MasterCard numbers, and her personal identification number, McGlothian-Taylor said. The resident was notified when seven withdrawals were made from her account on Sunday.Margaret Harding
