A 70-year-old female employee reported $15 in feminine hygiene products and change were stolen from a pad and tampon dispenser in the second-floor bathroom on the east side of the Main Library between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 6:45 p.m. Wednesday.The dispenser was not damaged, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor saidThe case is still under investigation. A 49-year-old vending employee reported a West Holmes Hall vending machine was damaged and $3 in vending machine products were stolen between 5:30 a.m. and 7 a.m. Thursday.Two Manna Cookies - one peanut butter and chocolate chip soft and chewy cookie and one oatmeal raisin soft and chewy cookie - were stolen, as well as a bag of animal crackers.Each item was valued at $1, McGlothian-Taylor said.The vending employee told police when she arrived in the Holmes lobby to restock the machine, she noticed the Plexiglas was pushed in and the three items were stolen from the top row on the left side of the machine.The case is still under investigation.Lauren Phillips
