A 24-year-old male reported his license plate was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked between 11:45 p.m. Wednesday and 3 a.m. Thursday in Lot 11, near the Main Library, MSU police Sgt. Paul Kuchek said.The plate was from North Carolina, he said.The case is still under investigation.• A 19-year-old female student reported her laptop, DVD player and two DVDs were stolen on Wednesday between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. from her Bailey Hall dorm room, Kuchek said.The woman told police she left her door closed but unlocked while she visited a friend.The items totaled $1,590, Kuchek said.Lauren Phillips
