As a precursor to Valentine's Day and in a celebration of love, the Creole Gallery, 1218 Turner St. in Lansing, will present "Burning Desires," an afternoon of poetry readings on Feb. 13. Poetry readings will be erotic and centered on love. Doors for the event open at noon, with readings beginning at 1 p.m. The event is $5.
