A 49-year-old university employee reported $360 of display materials taken from the McDonel Hall cafeteria, McGlothian-Taylor said.The materials included a $200 white and green 3-by-8-foot banner that read, "Congratulations Men and Co-ed 2003 McDonel Hall Intramural Football Champions," which was taped to a wall, she said.A display of black clothing with "McDonel Hall" in green lettering, including two pairs of shorts, one shirt and one button-down shirt, valued together at $60, were taken out of a display case in the cafeteria, McGlothian-Taylor said.A motorized decorative deer with a moving head valued at $100, one of four on display, also was taken, she said.There are no suspects and the case is still under investigation. A 21-year-old female student reported her purse stolen from a South Hubbard Hall study lounge between 10:15 p.m. and 10:45 p.m. on Sunday, McGlothian-Taylor said.The student told police she returned to the study lounge at 10:45 p.m. and left for the night at around midnight. She noticed her Hello Kitty purse, which included $5 and various identification, was missing Monday on her way to class.There are no suspects and the case is still under investigation.Lauren Phillips
