Police briefs 11/24/04

A 19-year-old Phillips Hall resident reported his car stereo stolen between Nov. 14 and Sunday, MSU police Sgt. Jennifer Brown said.The student told police the rear passenger window of his 1995 Pontiac Bonneville was broken, and the $150 stereo was removed. There was an estimated $50 in damage.Police have no witnesses or suspects.• A 19-year-old East Lansing resident reported her car covered with whipped cream Monday night, Brown said.The car was parked from 11:30 p.m. Monday and 2 a.m. Tuesday in Ramp 2, west of Bessey Hall. When the woman returned to her 2001 Nissan Pathfinder, it reportedly was covered with whipped cream. She told police she couldn't wipe it off because it had frozen onto the metal.The woman reportedly did not know why anyone would put whipped cream on her car, and police have no suspects.
