An MSU student reported his $1,300 bike was cut from its lock outside Mayo Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The 18-year-old student said his Specialized brand mountain bike was cut from a $30 cable lock between 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday and noon on Wednesday. The bike was on the east side of the hall.McGlothian-Taylor said the bike was not registered and that she encourages students to register their bikes to increase the possibility of recovery.Police have no suspects and continue to investigate, McGlothian-Taylor said.
