A female MSU student and a motorcyclist were injured when they collided at the intersection of Wilson Road and Farm Lane on Wednesday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The motorcyclist was traveling westbound on Wilson Road and hit the student as she was crossing southbound on the west side of the intersection.
Both were sent to Lansing's Sparrow Hospital, McGlothian-Taylor said.
They were in serious condition Wednesday afternoon, MSU police Sgt. Dan Beachnau said at the scene, where police remained for more than two hours.
McGlothian-Taylor said both had unknown injuries, and investigation continues.
She said it was unknown whether the traffic signal was green or red when the accident happened.
The incident was the third reported personal injury accident since Sunday, according to the MSU online police blotter. On Monday, a bicyclist was struck by a vehicle in Lot 39, near the International Center, resulting in minor injuries.
