A 27-year-old male university employee reported to police Monday a tire from his vehicle had been stolen, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The 2004 Ford Taurus was vandalized in a parking lot of the 1600 block of Spartan Village Apartments between 1 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday.The value of loss was $50, which included the right rear tire and lugnuts. The vehicle was left on cinder blocks, McGlothian-Taylor said.Police have no suspects. A 27-year-old male with no university affiliation reported to police the right rear window of his 1997 Honda Accord had been smashed with an unknown object.The vehicle was vandalized between 7 p.m. and 8:10 p.m. on the first floor of Ramp 3 on Sunday, the parking ramp attached to Kellogg Center, McGlothian-Taylor said.Stolen from the vehicle were three CD folders, each containing 25 CDs, and an Eclipse model car stereo. The total value of loss was $1,360 and damage was estimated at $150, McGlothian-Taylor said.Police have no suspects. A 22-year-old female employee at the Union reported her purse and cell phone stolen from the second floor kitchen between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. Monday, McGlothian-Taylor said.The value of loss was reported at $260 for the tan purse and Nextel Motorola phone, McGlothian-Taylor said.Jonathan Malavolti
