Kresge Art Museum will host a public celebration of the 100th anniversary of the artist Salvador Dali's birth with a lecture, music and cake.
The art museum owns Dali's "Remorse," or "Sphinx Embedded in the Sand." The event will feature "The Lesser Known Dali," a talk by Jordi Falgas, former assistant to the director of the Gala-Salvador Dali Foundation in Figueres, Spain, and author of "Dali, Painter, Paint! An introduction to the Life and Work of Salvador Dali." Reservations are suggested for this event, scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday in the Radiology Building.
