The toys of your childhood are back in action.
You don't have to go digging through boxes, dusting off your Moondancer, My Little Pony doll or that He-Man action figure and shield to feel nostalgic - just walk into any toy store. You might just feel like you're back in pre-school.
Popular toys from the 1980s have crept back onto toy-store shelves, just in time for the holiday season.
In recent years, folks in toy stores have duked it out for such holiday hot tickets as Tickle Me Elmo, little Furby robots and Beanie Babies. But this year, the toy shop rumbles may more closely resemble those from 1988.
Among the toys making their comebacks this year are Cabbage Patch Kids dolls, My Little Pony, Transformers, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Care Bears and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
"It's about time they bring back some of the good ol' toys," history freshman Andrew Gaul said. "I might have to pick myself up some new Transformers."
Most of the toys look the same as they did when you were in elementary school - others have gotten a bit of a face-lift for the holiday shopping frenzy.
Strawberry Shortcake has stripped off the red skirt and bloomers, and now sports blue jeans and a sweater tied around her waist. You can even buy her a teeny-tiny cell phone, probably to call her Berry Best Friends.
The Ninja Turtles must have been made fun of for their long names. Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo have been shortened to just Leo, Don, Ralph and Mike. The turtles in a half-shell fight the sewer slime in style now -
