The East Lansing Public Library is encouraging residents to participate in "Drummunity" from 2 to 3 p.m. on Sunday at the library, 950 Abbott Road.
"Drummunity" is a musical group involving hand drums, pickle buckets, salad bowls and muffin tins, and musical experience isn't necessary.
The event will have a collection of multicultural drums and percussion owned by Lori Fithian, who will host the group. Fithian has been studying different drumming traditions since 1990.
All ages are welcome to this free event.
To register, visit the East Lansing Public Library, or call (517) 351-2420.
