A 20-year-old student told police he was assaulted by a 20-year-old female student early Wednesday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The victim said he was at his apartment in Spartan Village when the suspect, a friend, phoned and asked to visit his place. The victim told the suspect not to come over because he had a woman at his place.However, the suspect came to the apartment and began punching the victim in his doorway. While punching the victim, the suspect apparently broke a screen door, valued at $75.The victim told police he did not have a romantic relationship with the suspect. The victim, who was not injured, did not want to press charges.Steve Eder
