The last film in the Israeli film series will touch on one of the country's most heralded heroes.
"The First Israeli in Space," an Israeli documentary about the space shuttle Columbia and, specifically about Ilan Ramon, will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in 1346 Engineering Building. The 70-minute film will show the preparation and the mission itself. This is the last film the fall series.
The film is dedicated to the seven crew members of the shuttle, which crashed Feb. 1.
The film is supported by the Michael and Elaine Serling Fund for Israel Studies.
