An 18-year-old female student was hospitalized after she was injured in a bike accident on Harrison Avenue near Emmons Hall on Tuesday, Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The student flipped over the handle bars on her bike when her feet became tangled in her pedals. East Lansing Fire Department responded to the accident and transported her to Lansing's Sparrow Hospital.The student bruised her right foot and had a sore left wrist. A 20-year-old female student told police on Tuesday that her purple purse was stolen from an unlocked locker in an unlocked room at the Food Safety and Toxicology Building, McGlothian-Taylor said.The student later found the purse in a stairwell and her wallet in a building tunnel, with $75 missing.Police have no suspects.Steve Eder
