The back window of a 1998 Ford convertible was smashed by an unknown object Sunday in the parking lot near West Shaw Lane and Harrison Avenue, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The car was smashed with an unknown object and nothing was taken. The damage is estimated at $150 and police have no suspects.• A 37-year-old nonuniversity-affiliated male reported being assaulted by an ex-employer Sunday at the Pavilion for Agriculture and Livestock Education, McGlothian-Taylor said.The man was taking down a display when the suspect, a 47-year-old Perry man, pushed him into a wall because he was upset the man quit working for him. The suspect was contacted by the Department of Police and Public Safety and the case has been forwarded to the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office.
