The Lansing Police Department arrested a Flint man late Tuesday night for the stabbing death of Tehesah Wallace of Lansing.Aaron Daniel Dantley, 24, was arrested in Flint after officers from Lansing and Flint located Wallace's rental car in Flint. Family members who discovered Wallace's body on Jan. 21 told police her rental car was missing from the scene and through rental records, officers found the car had been in an accident, Lansing police Lt. Bruce Ferguson said.Dantley has no prior arrests in the Lansing area and Ferguson said Wallace and Dantley had some type of relationship, but didn't know what kind. Dantley was arraigned Wednesday with no bond by Judge Patrick Cherry in 54-A District Court and faces a charge of open murder, which is life in prison.Wallace's body was found in her home at 720 Call St., and police believed she was murdered days earlier. A 36-year-old woman not affiliated with the university reported a purse, ring, watch, wallet and a cell phone stolen Tuesday in the women's locker room of IM Sports-West, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The woman placed the items in a duffel bag while she was taking a shower and when she returned, the items were gone. The wallet and purse were later recovered.The value of the loss is $350 and police have no suspects.
