A 35-year-old female employee reported that two washers were damaged Sunday morning at Cherry Lane Apartments, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.The washers' coin intakes were pried off and their water intakes and water discharges were cut, McGlothian-Taylor said. There are no suspects and the amount of the damage is unknown. Two students and three nonstudents received a citation for use of marijuana Sunday morning at East Akers Hall, McGlothian-Taylor said.Police responded to a call of the smell of marijuana. When officers arrived the five admitted using the drug, McGlothian-Taylor said. The students have been assigned to court.
