A 35-year-old female MSU employee reported her purse stolen containing $600 cash from Baker Hall, MSU police Lt. Kelly Beck said. Between 10 a.m. and noon Tuesday the employee left her purse in a partially unzipped backpack by an open door in an office, Beck said.The employee left the office several times, Beck said.The items are valued at $655.• A 35-year-old male MSU employee reported five black bar stools with green seats stolen from the Hubbard Hall cafeteria, Beck said.Between noon on Nov. 26 and noon Monday the stools were taken, Beck said.The stools were taken from the south side of the dining room located adjacent to the exit doors, Beck said.They are valued at $600. • A 19-year-old male student reported his Columbia jacket stolen from a Wells Hall classroom, Beck said.At 8 p.m. Monday the student stepped into the hallway leaving his coat on a chair, Beck said.When he returned at 8:15 p.m. his coat and the keys in the pocket were gone, Beck said.The items are valued at $225.• A 21-year-old female student reported her JanSport backpack stolen from the Natural Science Building, Beck said.Between 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Tuesday it was taken from a room where the student was studying, Beck said.The student left her backpack where she could not see it, Beck said.School supplies, keys, a bus pass, textbooks and several other items were taken with the backpack, Beck said.The items are valued $520.• A 40-year-old female MSU employee reported a $10 lock box was stolen from Linton Hall, Beck said. Between 4 p.m. on Nov. 22 and 9 a.m. Tuesday the box was smashed open after it was taken out of a filing cabinet, Beck said.
