A 20-year-old Saginaw female reported an unknown person attempted to hot-wire her four-door 2000 Chevrolet Blazer, MSU police Sgt. Matt Merony said.The woman parked her car in Lot 72 near Case Hall at 8 p.m. Sunday and thinks she locked it, Merony said.When she returned to the car at 8 a.m. Monday, the plastic steering panel was pried off and three wires were snipped, Merony said. The damage is estimated at $500.• A 20-year-old male student reported his PlayStation 2 stolen from his Shaw Hall room, Merony said.The last time he used it was 9 p.m. Nov. 14, but he didn't realize it was missing until he went to use it again at 4 p.m. on Nov. 17, Merony said.The student says he leaves his dorm room open frequently, Merony said.The PlayStation 2 is valued at $200.• A 22-year-old female student reported her $200 Victoria Secret boots burned, Merony said.Between 3 and 3:30 p.m. Monday the boots were burned in her Spartan Village Apartment, Merony said.The woman and her 23-year-old student boyfriend got into a fight, Merony said.The boyfriend is suspected of burning the boots, Merony said.• A 20-year-old female student reported she has received several nuisance telephone calls in her Wilson Hall room, Merony said.An unknown male has called her 10 to 15 times per day since Nov. 8, Merony said.The calls have not been threatening, Merony said.
